I wrote drunk, edited sober

Last night was... interesting.
Two glasses of whiskey deep.
Laptop open.
Google doc staring back at me.
Usually my evenings involve Netflix and scrolling through Instagram reels of cats doing backflips.
But something different happened.
I started writing…
And holy shit.
The ideas that came out...
Things I'd never dare say sober.
Headlines that would make my mother disown me.
Angles that would make Gary Halbert proud.
(And probably concerned for my mental health.)
This morning, I woke up dreading what I'd find.
You know that feeling when you check your "sent" folder after a night out?
That kind of dread.
But what I found wasn't a disaster.
It was... good?
Like, really good.
The kind of copy that breaks all the "rules" but works anyway.
Raw.
Unfiltered.
Zero fucks given.
Turns out, drunk me doesn't care about,
What others might think…
Industry "best practices"...
Playing it safe…
And the results?
Some of the most creative headlines I've ever written.
Now, I'm not saying you should write copy drunk.
(My lawyer made me add that part)
But maybe we're all a bit too careful…
Too polished…
Too afraid to say what we really want to say…
Sometimes you need to let loose to find the gold.
Even if it means waking up to some questionably spelled words.
Worth it.
To creative freedom,
